1930’s era home was outdated and ill-suited to modern family life. By
removing 3 load-bearing walls, two of those being exterior walls, a 300
sq. ft. two-story addition provided the needed space to transform the
lower level into a great room concept design combining the dining,
living, kitchen and media rooms into a seamless, open space.
On the second story, a dormer was added, allowing the master bathroom to
be expanded to create a true master suite. The kids’ bathroom and
upstairs laundry rooms were updated with beautiful finishes and much
needed storage space. The new addition seamlessly blends into the
existing home and maintains the home’s traditional appeal, a critical
requirement in this classic neighborhood.
