Historic Renovation
The owners of this
beautiful residence in Dilworth’s historic district needed additional
living, storage and bathroom space. This was accomplished by creating an
addition that could not be distinguished from the original construction.
The interior woodwork was all milled to match the old mouldings. Flat
paneled maple doors were custom fabricated and stained to match the
original. Even the lavatory faucets and shower valve take you back in
time with their distinctive styling. The overall results are a perfect
fit. The clients as well as the City of Charlotte Historic District
Commission are delighted.
