Two working parents, a
sixteen year old boy, a seventeen year old girl…and one shower. This
homicidal dilemma was solved by turning one bathroom into two. The kids
bath has a private toilet area, and the tub size was increased from 4.5
to 5’. The partition wall was enlarged to accommodate a shower valve. A
pocket door was used to divide the two rooms for privacy. The kids have
a 34.5" vanity with three drawers for each, and a recessed 36" tri-view
medicine cabinet for additional storage. The parents each have a 34.5"
vanity and three medicine cabinets. To allow the family to use all of
their electrical hygiene products, there are 4 GFI outlets in the kids
bath…and TEN in the master bath.
