The facelift of this 100
year old building involved replacing the siding and 42 windows, re-parging
the stone foundation wall, removing a rear porch and rebuilding a 2nd
floor front porch. The building housed an active news agency that
continued operating during the construction, so scaffolding was built
with safety features to prevent falling debris. The building now has a
maintenance free look with no signs that it was once a run down 100
year-old building.
