This sunroom is designed
to enclose and extend the existing deck and to integrate that space into
the existing living room. The room is built around the largest Microlam
they could buy, which is 18 inches tall by 30 feet long. The windows and
framing were trimmed out in clear fir. White oak flooring was installed
with a urethane finish. Floor and ceiling insulation is R-30. A heat
load calculation was performed and 400CFM of air flow was added, but no
additional heating or cooling capacity was required.
