This gazebo was created
to be the setting for a wedding, then would remain as a permanent
structure to compliment the ranch upon which it was built. In this area
of Texas, expansive soils challenge the strongest foundation systems.
Concrete piers were installed to a depth of 12’. The groom provided his
labor as his wedding present to his wife, and worked the seven Saturdays
prior to the wedding. Final painting took place three days before the
wedding and the bride and groom have a lasting mark of their wedding
day.
