2012 Best Whole House Remodel under $250,000
Team Award
The
existing house was a well-built, conventional California ranch-style
house and no longer suited the client’s growing family needs or
reflected their taste. The challenge for the designers and the builder
was to remodel and add to the house in a way that met the client’s
expectations without violating the basic architectural style of the
house. The street-facing façade was subtly altered. The big surprise is
the interior. The program parameters were met. The project was
constructed within the budged and schedule. The owners are very happy to
show off their new home.
