The goal of this interior renovation was to make the home hip, cozy and reflective of the owner’s personality and needs. Not much worked in the original house. It was neglected, dark with some really unusable spaces. All interior finishes were removed and updated. The front closet was replaced with an Alder wood built-in storage unit and the white iron stair railing was replaced with Alder built-in display cabinetry and benches. The original brick fireplace was resurfaced using a Luxury Cement Kalesinterflix stone tile and an accent base of smaller matching “Stick Mix” tiles. The new contrasting Asian Oak floors create a rustic warm feel.
