Outdoor living is no longer a
trend—it’s an expectation. This project transformed an underutilized
backyard into a fully integrated outdoor retreat. While expanding the
main-level kitchen and family room, the lower level became a recreation
space with lounge and dining areas, a fireplace, and a fully equipped
outdoor kitchen and bar. A waterproof ceiling system, ceiling fans, and
a wider patio door improved comfort and connectivity. A composite deck
links levels, while a custom playhouse with slide and climbing wall
completes the space. The family now spends most of their time outdoors
entertaining and enjoying time together.
