The
most personal space in your home is the bathroom-specifically the master
bathroom. When you move into a home, it often doesn’t truly fell like it
is “yours” until you’ve added personal touches to the master bath. In
this case, the homeowners moved into a space that was completely lacking
in personality. The builder had installed run-of-the-mill fixtures and
called it a day. Worse, because of his height, the husband didn’t even
fit into the fiberglass shower. It was our mission to reinvigorate the
boring bathroom to make it functional and beautiful. We provided privacy
by taking unused space from a closet and turning it into a toilet room.
Next we made the space larger by replacing the massive, unused tub with
a large “deck” with a sleek, modern stand-alone bathtub tucked into the
window area.
