The homeowners were tired
of the look of their home and in need of creative help. They had always
wanted a covered entry and had a worn out picture they had saved for
years of an arched style portico. Each rafter was templated and hand cut
on site. The trim detail, including the custom crown moldings and
individual beaded ceiling planks were meticulously installed to create a
perfect look and feel. High end materials including a new standing seam
copper roof, Aztec trim boards, perma-cast columns and clad Marvin
windows create a long lasting and low maintenance improvement. Final
touches including a new natural stone stoop leading to an African
Mahogany front entry system and perfectly proportioned pendant light all
add to making the homeowner’s old picture a reality.
