The original home was inadequate with
regards to space and design for any type of entertaining. The solution
was to create a customized two-story addition that would satisfy this
need, as well as incorporating imaginative elements that would enhance
the display of their art. The first floor of the addition includes a
recreation room expansion that almost triples the size of the original,
while the second story features a great room that compliments a complete
kitchen and dining room remodel. Craftsman-style design elements are
reflected in the window grills, light fixtures and in the custom-built
handrail detailing. "Life-altering!" was the resounding response from
the client to this expansive renovation.
