Remodeling was definitely needed in this 86-year-old home. The challenge was to do this within the existing space. Removing one kitchen wall enabled a breakfast counter with additional capacity. It includes cleverly designed storage with an open concept. Durable grey painted shaker doors are not overwhelming, even though the cabinets are double stacked. Light quartz counters contrast the porcelain plank floor tile in a faux wood finish. A glass infused backsplash reflects the now abundant natural light. A three-piece bath replaced a powder room and hardwood floors throughout compliment the new façade on their living room fireplace.
