A tragic fire destroyed
this lake home and garage. A very inaccessible and environmentally
sensitive building site was a challenge from the start. What resulted
was a hose design that couldn't expand its original footprint, except
for notching a stair tower into the 40 foot rock face that was behind
the house and away from the lake. Twelve months of painful execution
re-created this tasteful, stoutly built and energy efficient lake home
that now boasts a bridge to connect its rebuilt garage, as well as add a
detached 1-car garage/boat house on its lower level drive.
