This project was designed
to convert an old concrete block grocery store into a German Bier Garten,
with the rustic integrity of the small farm town where it resides.
Creative use of space divides the structure into two facilities used for
dining and the Bier Garten atmosphere. This creates a smaller, more
intimate appeal. Infusing actual trees and old barn siding and flooring
into the interior design maintained the rustic integrity of the town.
The restaurant is finished off with an appealing round fireplace in the
dining room with added water effects.
