The client for this small
1,200 sq. ft. commercial tenant improvement was a residential and light
commercial design/build contractor. They desired a bright airy office
that would provide its clients with a representative sample of the
diversity, quality and creativity of its design staff, as well as an
example of the quality of construction services they could expect. The
formal front office spaces were designed as an eclectic mix of
contemporary and traditional materials and furniture. The studio space
provides an 'urban loft' feel with high ceilings, large 12' high
windows, exposed spiral ductwork and industrial style light fixtures.
This industrial feel is tempered with the warmth of painted bead board
paneling, glazed French doors and custom built-in wood bookcases.
