The challenge of this
project was to create more floor space and a more open feel without
altering the existing footprint of the kitchen. A 27" refrigerator was
installed to replace the existing 36" refrigerator. Special framing was
constructed so the double ovens could be recessed into the garage wall.
The tall storage cabinets along the oven wall were reduced in depth and
the cabinetry was built with different angles to further open up the
floor space giving the room a more "flowing" appearance.
