This homeowner was an
avid swimmer. The objective was to give her a year round swimming
exercise area in the privacy of her own home that would still give her
the feeling she was outside. She also wanted all the extras such as a
surround sound audio system and a fireplace. The biggest challenge was
that the swim/spa had to be installed first, with the room then built
around it, without being affected by inclement weather. Twenty three
windows were installed with transoms to maximize wall exposure to the
outdoors. Exterior cedar siding was used on interior walls to provide a
feeling of being outdoors. An exceptional living area was created for
the homeowner and all needs and wants were satisfied.
