The challenge for this
remodel was to create a modern kitchen while maintaining its 1920's
Bungalow/Craftsman sensibility. The original wide plank fir hardwood
flooring was unearthed and restored. A new refrigerator, dishwasher and
range were installed and, by using panels, the appliances blend right
into the cabinetry to maintain the "built-in" bungalow look. The white
farmer's sink and brushed nickel faucet compliment the
period-appropriate lighting. A new built-in bench in the nook completes
the look.
