The first and foremost
challenge in this project was to maintain the integrity of the older
Charlotte neighborhood. The charm that had initially drawn the family to
the home was maintained by tastefully adding 2,500 square feet, yet
preserving the original style of the home. The addition includes a
larger master bedroom, master bath, three new bedrooms, a full guest
bath, and an entertainment room with wet bar. A new front and back porch
were also added. Amenities in the new master were a jetted bathtub,
double vanities, custom cabinets and a double sized shower with
individualized showerheads.
