The 74-year-old client wanted to have her bathroom professionally designed and remodeled for several reasons: 1) So that she would not be forced to move into costly assisted living housing because her bathroom couldn't accommodate a walker or wheelchair; 2) to meet her current need for seated showering following knee replacement surgery, 3) to prevent falls and accidents; and 4) to have a beautifully updated, better functioning space that meets her desires.
