This design created an
inviting, warm kitchen that is elegant, yet comfortable for a large
family who wanted more space for their frequent family gatherings and
holiday occasions. Cherry wood with chestnut stain and ebony glazing
island cabinets provide a distinct contrast to the handcrafted linen
white perimeter cabinetry. A new detailed column separates the kitchen
from the family room and adds eloquence while camouflaging a necessary
support post. Flipping the kitchen to expand the existing area provided
for better traffic flow, a centerpiece island as well as better sink and
stove locations.
