2007 Whole House Remodel $200 - $500,000

The goal for this whole house remodel was to upgrade and expand a neglected, older Santa Barbara house. Only the living room and garage of this 1,150 square foot, two bedroom, two bath home remained after demolition. Extensive remodeling of the main floor included a new entry porch, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms. The second story addition created a master bedroom suite. With new finishes inside and out, the finished project is a high quality, high performance, 2,046 sq. ft. home. The combination of a design for contemporary living with high quality, low-impact materials, and high performance, energy efficient systems has transformed a neglected former rental property Into an elegant, resource efficient, comfortable Craftsman style home the owners will enjoy for years to come.
