2010 Best Bath Remodel Over $60,000

The owners of this 10-year-old home were ready for custom finishes in their dark master bath. The original master bedroom was too large, with awkward geometry, and it was decided to flip the bedroom and bath locations. The new bath includes plenty of storage in the cherry cabinetry, a large shower with dual controls and a rain shower, and toe-kick heaters. The generous windows bring in natural daylight with additional light from the curved ceiling cove and from the dimmable, fluorescent vanity lights. The cream colors of the bath extend to the wardrobe and dressing areas, with the built-in cabinetry affording additional storage opportunities.
