This CT master bath design uses a play on geometric shapes to create a peaceful contemporary master bathroom retreat. Using the client’s Asian artwork as inspiration for the design, and existing round window over the utub is now framed by shoji screen inspired millwork. A glass tile mosaic was used to introduce the subtle color palette, favored by the clients, and reintroduce the window’s shape elsewhere in the space. The creative use of quartz allowed for the creation of a new tub platform that holds its own against the oversized design elements of the focal wall.
