Approaching
the 30-year anniversary of their home, these homeowners were fed up with
their dark, confined primary bathroom and dreamed of a light-filled,
spa-like retreat inspired by European design. By annexing an adjacent
guest room, the layout was transformed without expanding the footprint,
allowing for a freestanding tub, generous shower, and walk-in closet. A
dramatic terrazzo feature wall anchors the space, balanced by a custom
walnut vanity that adds warmth and craftsmanship. Every detail was
thoughtfully executed to create a cohesive, timeless design. The result:
a highly personal sanctuary that elevates daily routines into moments of
comfort and connection.
