Framed by Nature re-imagines a lakeside
cottage into a sculptural, light-filled sanctuary deeply
rooted in its landscape. Removing the original roof allowed for the
addition of a soaring butterfly roof, panoramic windows, and expanded
sightlines across the water. Organic materials, layered forms, and
thoughtfully zoned outdoor living spaces dissolve the boundaries between
home and nature. Downstairs, new guest suites and a vibrant lounge
create a multi-generational retreat. Sophisticated yet grounded, Framed
by Nature is a masterclass in balancing architectural innovation with
environmental reverence—offering a timeless, sensory-rich living
