This home has the "million dollar view" of San Diego Bay, the harbor entrance and the city skyline to Mexico. The owners wanted to add a new family room to savor the view and wow their guests. In keeping with the yacht clubs and private marinas lining the harbor, a 290 sq. ft. space based on a nautical theme featuring a ship's prow design was produced. A 1,000 sq. ft. wrap-around deck was added for entertaining. Borrowing a line from the movie Titanic, the owner can stand on the point of his deck, with the prow at his back and exclaim "I'm the king of the world!"
