Location! Location! Location! This St. Croix River retreat needed some help to live up to its surroundings. Removing inefficiencies in the master suite of this riverside vacation home was all it needed to feel larger, brighter, and more peaceful. The homeowners were wanting to modernize and reconfigure the master suite to maximize comfort and functionality. The goals were to alleviate having to share access to the main level bathroom by creating room for a separate powder bath in addition to a private master bath, maintain sufficient closet space, and allow for more natural light. The retreat would be designed to match the relaxing and summery mood of the river while also adding luxurious details like heated floors and sophisticated finishes.
