This dated bathroom was
completely gutted, including the interior walls, to open up the floor
plan. A new doublewide doorway from the bedroom was fitted with glass
and mahogany framed sliding doors, making the room feel more spacious. A
new whirlpool tub set on a tile-clad deck was installed with removable
custom wood panels that were custom matched to the vanity door style and
finish. A 6’ vanity cabinet was installed toped with 12 X 24 onyx tile,
which was a common finish throughout the bathroom, continuing in the
shower, along the tub deck and walls as the side and backsplash. The
custom designed corner shower with glass walls added to the open feel of
this bathroom. Lighting and additional electrical outlets were added to
provide proper illumination and convenience.
