The project included transforming a well-used treated pine deck into a new hardwood deck that would withstand the test of time. A Brazilian hardwood was chosen because of its mahogany appearance and density. The wood was secured with a Deckmaster system to ensure that no nailheads disrupt the smooth flow of the surface. Wrought iron railings were used to complement the owners exterior furnishings.
