Outdoor Living under $200,000

This south facing deck in the Pacific Northwest was in disarray - weather beaten and unusable in the peak of summer due to the lack of shade. The homeowners desired a space that could be used spring through fall, with an outdoor kitchen and seating to entertain family and friends. A roof was constructed and heaters added to use over a portion of the deck year round. The outdoor kitchen is covered with a retractable shade to give protection and relief from the elements, but not disrupt the natural light into the adjacent kitchen.
