Bath Remodel $40,000 - $60,000
National Winner
The goal for this 1920s
period bath was to create a soothing modern bath filled with period
details. Other requirements included a soaking tub, walk-in shower,
water closet, and additional closet space that hadn't previously
existed. Selective use of soft colors accents the clean crisp style
creating a tranquil cottage bath. The new split vanities are flanked by
bead board wrapped knee walls. The two-piece baseboard and four-piece
chair rail and wall cap were custom milled to match period photos
supplied by the owner. A clear frameless shower enclosure keeps the bath
open and light, while hexagon floor tile and beveled subway wall tile in
the shower complete the period feel.
