The scope of the project included the addition of a new covered front porch portico with stairway and some minor decorative work on two existing roof gabled dormers. This sensitive, yet significant single design element completed the existing home, visually providing an architectural focal point for the front facade. The classically proportioned portico marries the home to the historical fabric of its older neighborhood context and provided an outdoor living space for the homeowners.
