So unsightly that
neighbors wondered when it would be torn down, but this 1860 gem in the
rough was gutted to the shell exposing her solid core of Cypress post
and beam construction. The original main staircase and wood flooring
were refinished. A small 78 square foot addition and smart re-use of
existing space restored the home to its original charm. Modern amenities
include a gourmet kitchen, master suite and bathroom with spa tub and
marble steam shower, a new fireplace, air conditioning and old world
style clap board siding.
