This
project was a battle of the minds (husband and wife); each having their
own vision for the space. The clean, timeless style of the cabinetry,
the flood of natural light into the space and the re-design of the
functionality of the kitchen made this 1960’s home leap into the 21st
century. The continual flooring blends their den and kitchen spaces
together into one large living area. The challenges we faced and
solutions we created cannot be detected in the space today. All members
of this family are happily enjoying their new den, kitchen and powder
bath. The mom absolutely loves the fact that her preparation path in the
galley kitchen is no longer invaded while cooking.
