This loft, located in a
New York landmark building was completely renovated. The existing layout
was preserved while a second bathroom was added. The renovation fuses
the finest materials from around the world into every detail. A
pared-down aesthetic allows the natural beauty of the volumes to stand
out. A state-of-the-art cook’s kitchen is the centerpiece of the loft,
and does the visual design trick of both disappearing from, and yet
elegantly enhancing, the living space. The loft has been professionally
lit with a focus on displaying an art collection. The loft is currently
set up as a one bedroom with small office, but it easily converts to a
windowed two bedroom without forfeiting its gracious living/entertaining
space.
