The object of this project was to create
an access to the bathroom from the master bedroom all the while
maximizing storage and usable space for both them and their guests.Being
a century old home, it offered up a plethora of challenges. Poor
existing framing conditions led
to things not being level
and square. You never know what you'll find when opening older walls
like that. We were able to find solutions by staying creative in our
selections and design process. Exchangingspace in the attic, existing
bathroom, and bedroom made this a much more functional space. The
clients have been happily living in the space for a year now and could
not be more pleased. Theyhave enjoyed seeing people continue to admire
the space on houzz.com. It seems to be one of the more popular projects
we have listed on the site. Many people are adding the photos to their
ideabooksand requesting information on materials and selections in order
to replicate the space in their own homes.
