These
former executives had a vision of a little retreat…right on their
property. A place where they could go to relax, meditate, practice yoga
or just enjoy some peaceful reading or conversation. The addition became
know as “The Spirit Center” which was transformed into a two story,
octagonal addition. The upstairs is a beautiful rotunda with a cupola
ceiling, beautiful halo-style lighting and gorgeous beechwood built-ins
around the perimeter. The downstairs is a exercise room along with a
bath and sauna. This addition also achieved LEED Silver designation and
HERS rating of 9.
