The existing home was a
center hall colonial. The project included renovating the existing house
as well as adding on new space. The home was increased from 4,451 square
feet to 9,057 square feet. The interior of the existing house was gutted
and all electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems were replaced, along
with all windows and roofing. The existing basement was transformed into
an entire entertainment level. The second level has three renovated
bedrooms, two baths, a laundry room and huge master suite.
The new home includes many beautiful details such as raised paneling
wainscot, combination crown molding, built-in cabinetry and bookcases,
coffered ceilings, stone fireplaces and much more. The exterior includes
a screened porch, a large two level deck with a spiral stair, and a
covered flagstone terrace at grade level. Well designed landscaping
supplies a beautiful final accent to the exterior finishes.
