fifth generation had been planning for over a decade to make
improvements to this working historic family farm. The project included
a historically correct addition, updating a dysfunctional kitchen and
making the house more energy efficient. The home is stately but simple;
after all it is a farmhouse. The understated timeless details in the
house were carried through to the new addition and whole house
renovation. The large investment has carried out the dreams of the
previous generation, while all current generations of the family are
