The clients wanted to
create a weekend home for their family that would serve as an oasis from
the city. They had purchased a generic two-story colonial house with a
maze of small rooms that provided very little natural light. The
renovation involved creating a modern "farm house" environment with
fresh, clean curb appeal. In re-imagining the house, they created
cohesive living spaces unified by a harmonious and soothing color
palette, inspired by the natural environment with accents of popped
colors that echo the property's blooming flowers. The result is a
tranquil setting and cohesive architectural renovation transformation.
