This 1930’s bungalow was
in need of a renovation that would create useable space within the
existing walls and update the look, while respecting the original style.
The front porch was extended and two gables were added to substantiate
the front elevation. New divided light vinyl windows installed
throughout were uniform with the style and also energy efficient. A wall
was removed to open the kitchen to the dining and family rooms. The
kitchen is well appointed with limestone countertops, subway tiles and a
large farm sink. The existing hall bath was reconfigured and now
includes a furniture piece vanity. The original third bedroom was
transformed into a master bath and walk-in closet. The master bath has a
refinished claw foot tub, large glass enclosed shower and his and her
vanities.
