The client purchased an
1850 historic row house, wanting to update the kitchen and allow
entertaining. We were limited to the existing footprint of the kitchen
for historical and structural reasons. We took a dysfunctional kitchen
and custom designed every element. All cabinets were custom designed,
appliances special ordered for the specific sizes required in the small
kitchen, yet maximizing the space usage. The copper backsplash was
client designed and made by a copper artist using an acid drip
technique. The clients were extremely pleased with their new kitchen and
have had many compliments every time they entertain.
