The old, U-shaped kitchen
in a rustic A-frame house was cut off from the views of the mountains.
Expanding the adjoining four-season room and rotating the angle of the
kitchen created a two-story closet, larger eating area and a more
functional workspace. The rustic feel of the house was carried out in
the new design, yet modern touches were added. Much to the delight of
the homeowners, the reconfiguration led to increased views of the
mountains. Now cooking and other day-to-day activities are a pleasure in
this new kitchen addition.
