The client wanted a
sophisticated, modern bathroom that made use of the natural light and
was also environmentally friendly. To create this space, the visual
barriers of the partition wall, sinks, and tub were removed, allowing
the skylight to flood the room with light and provide an open area.
Water conserving urinal, bidet and toilet elements were installed along
one wall to create visual length with a back wall made of organic bamboo
as a counterpoint to the sleek textures elsewhere. The shower features
large-scale checkerboard wall tile and is lined with natural stone and a
multi-jet shower panel.
