The goal was to open up
the space while keeping it intimate and warm, yet functional. Cooking
for family and friends is a big part of their lives and the large ILVE
stove and counter space brought their entertainment capability to the
next level. The dolomite marble backsplash and matching handles
compliment the quartz countertops and unify the space. Using repurposed
wood from a decommissioned local train station gives the project depth
and a sense of history. The alabaster pendant globes glisten and cast a
soft and warm light overall. Modern, elegant, and open concept
living....as planned, but better!
