The silo in this house is
a standout feature, serving both functional and aesthetic purposes. Its
circular, stone construction adds a unique focal point. Inside, it
crucially connects the primary bedroom wing to the main living space.
The upper portion houses a 'tree house' office space with stunning
views.
A custom-built cabinet
was crafted for the silo, a gift for the husband who uses it as his
office. Designing this cabinetry required meticulous planning. Lighting
played a key role, enhancing the ambiance. Header lighting in each
window creates a beautiful nighttime atmosphere. Wall wash lights
illuminate the stone, eliminating shadows.
