2006 Best Room Remodel
This client dreamed of a
serene haven to come home to at the end of a stressful work day. The
goal was to create an inviting space for entertaining and to enjoy the
spectacular views surrounding the home from every room. A 7' X 7'
picture window was installed to replace two smaller windows in the
dining room. The 400 lb window had to be carried over the roof and
lowered down for placement by six men. A closet in the living room was
converted to a fully opened wine bar, with mirrors and glass shelves to
reflect the light, and halogen lights along the ceiling beams in the
living room and rail lighting in the dining room were added to increase
illumination to both areas.
