Elements is the Key to this Winner.
The play of light and dark is exemplified by the use of 3" X 3" Rosa
Laguna diamond tile insets among the 12" X 12" Gio White marble tiles,
which continues throughout the bath, even into the shower. While the
clients wanted lots of light, they did not want starkness. Angled
mirrors and dimmer switches were two of the ways to control the
artificial light.
This bath has a two person Jacuzzi, a steam shower with full bench seat
and full length glass panels and doors, a private toilet area, a hidden
clothes hamper, separate closets, a separate makeup area with specialty
lighting, a two bowl counter top, display areas, and richly applied
mouldings throughout. Architectural switches were installed in the
pocket doors to the closets to turn the closet lights on and off when
entering and exiting.
The drama, formality, and elegance of this bath are incredible. Most
importantly it met all of the numerous requirements of the clients.
